🌟 Ibn al-Haytham – Life Story and Contributions 1. Birth and Early Life Ibn al-Haytham was born in 965 CE in Basra (now Iraq). His full name was Abu Ali Hasan Ibn al-Hasan Ibn al-Haytham.
